A Guide to Disabling Turrets in Lethal Company

Lethal Company: The Ultimate Co-op Survival Horror Game with a Dark Twist

Lethal Company is the co-op survival horror game that takes the popular concept of Among Us and transforms it into a dark and terrifying experience. In this game, you and your squad of crewmates are tasked with scavenging scrap from abandoned moons for the mysterious Company. However, the journey is fraught with danger, and players must navigate various obstacles to stay alive.

    The Perils of Lethal Company

One of the biggest threats you’ll encounter in Lethal Company is the deadly turrets. These automated weapons can quickly eliminate you and often block your path, making survival even more challenging. Fortunately, there is a simple way to disable these turrets and ensure the safety of your comrades.

How to Disable Turrets in Lethal Company

Disabling turrets in Lethal Company is a straightforward process that requires one player to stay on the ship while the rest of the crew ventures out to search for valuable scrap.

During each scrap run, designate one person to remain onboard and monitor the situation. This player will have a radio that they can use to open secured doors or disable turrets upon the request of their teammates.

Typically, the player on monitoring duty will observe their squadmates exploring various areas through the monitor. They can switch between different players’ points of view using the designated buttons. While watching, they will come across letter and number combinations on the monitor, which are primarily codes for opening and locking secured doors. Sometimes, these codes also apply to the turrets. To identify turrets on the monitor, look for a small cone indicating their direction.

When you spot a teammate approaching a turret on the monitor or receive a radio message regarding their proximity to one, follow these steps:

    • Access the Terminal located beside the monitor, which provides access to the store and storage, among other functions.
    • Type in the turret’s designated code as shown on the monitor or instructed by your teammate. For example, ‘j6’.
    • The turret will be temporarily disabled.
The player inputs a code on the Terminal to unlock a secured door in Lethal Company, a successful broadcast message is shown

Note that you may need to repeat this process if your crewmates remain in the area, as turrets usually come back online after a minute or two.

Disabling turrets follows a similar process to unlocking secured doors. By mastering these techniques, you can enhance your chances of survival in Lethal Company.
