Chemin de L’Espoir: Uncovering the Hidden Gems
The Chemin de L’Espoir area, located west of the Court of Fontaine and north of the unique stony outcrops, boasts a plethora of Beryl Conch. However, extensive preparation is required before you can fully explore this region. Begin by diving down and activating the hidden water tiles with the help of a sea creature. Collect the first set of Conches and then dive even deeper to the ocean floor. Pick up the outliers to the south, near the teleport waypoint, and proceed through the archway.
It is important to note that when you do this for the first time, you trigger the Ann of the Narzissenkreuz World Quest. This quest is fairly contained but somewhat lengthy, requiring you to complete at least the first two objectives. By finishing them, you can remove the water from the underground cavern, leading to unrestricted exploration.
The Beryl Conch in this region are not hidden, making it easy for you to collect them. Grab the ones along the passageway into the cavern and pick up the few near the citadel as well.
Blubberbeast Observatory: A Hidden Delight
If you ever find yourself near the northern teleport waypoint on the southwestern coast, it is worth visiting the Blubberbeast Observatory. This spot offers not only Beryl Conch but also a unique experience. Dive in and activate the underwater waypoint, then collect the nearby conches. Swim westward until you reach a lone building nestled against the rocks. This area is brimming with Beryl Conch, including some hidden behind the sea grass.
Once you have collected the Beryl Conch, head inside the building. During your first visit, a cutscene plays where you encounter a young Blubberbeast in need of assistance. Make sure to feed and interact with them whenever you return to the observatory for a chance to find a few more Beryl Conch in their enclosure.
Great Lake of Fontaine: A Treasure Trove Below
The Great Lake surrounding the Court of Fontaine is another prime location for finding Beryl Conch. Most of them can be found by examining the rock walls and the lake bed around the Pale Forgotten Glory Domain, except for a few exceptions.
While these Beryl Conch appear on the interactive map and mini-map, they are only accessible through an underwater tunnel connected to the eastern tunnel near the waypoint to the west of the leftmost circle in the image above
The underwater courtyard houses several Beryl Conch. To access the next chamber, use the manta ray to clear the sea grass away. However, to unlock the rest of the passage, you must complete the Aqueous Tidemarks quest, which can be obtained in the Court of Fontaine itself.
The remaining Beryl Conch can be found near the Opera Epiclese and further north, to the west of Marcott Station. Collecting them is a straightforward process.
Genshin Impact Beryl Conch Farming Tips: Mastering the Art
While grabbing all the Beryl Conch in the Court of Fontaine may seem overwhelming, a systematic approach can make it manageable and rewarding.
1. Start at the waypoint near Chemin and collect the Conch lining the walls and ground as you swim deeper into the depths. Then, teleport to the waypoint outside the Citadel, gather the Conch there, and explore further inside the cavern.
2. Teleport to the waypoint near the observatory building. Collect the nearby Conch and then head to the building itself. Don’t forget to enter the building and retrieve the two Conch in the Blubberbeast’s tank. Travel back to the waypoint and swim east to collect the Conch located in that area.
3. Make the Domain your starting point. Swim west and north to collect the next batch of Beryl Conch.
4. Travel to the waypoint just south of Fontaine and dive into the courtyard below. This area contains several Beryl Conch, including some on the wall and one tricky Conch on the underside of a broken stone pillar. Enter the old lab to collect the remaining shells.
5. Use the eastern waypoint near the Opera to collect the next set of Beryl Conch. Then, swim north for the final bunch. Note that there is no direct access point for the far northern cluster underwater, but you can save time by starting from Marcotte Station, gliding west, and then diving down.
