IGN’s Twenty Questions – Guess the game!

The internet had its fair share of fun with GTA 7 amidst the excitement over GTA 6 Trailer 1. Memes and jokes flooded social media platforms, imagining the reaction of Rockstar’s CEO upon seeing GTA 7 trending.

The growing anticipation for GTA 7 is evident from the early discussions on the GTA 7 subreddit, which already has 3,600 members. The community is busy predicting the release year for GTA 7, with most guesses pointing towards the mid-2030s.

Considering that GTA 5 was released in 2013 and with GTA 6 slated for 2025, it would have taken 12 years for the sequel to make its debut. With this in mind, Rockstar and Take-Two, the parent company, will likely aim for a similar lifespan and financial success with GTA 6’s GTA Online equivalent. Following this trend, the launch of GTA 7 could be expected in 2037.

As speculation continues about the release year of GTA 7, fans also ponder the platforms it will launch on. Will PlayStation and Xbox still be in the console game? Rumors suggest that Microsoft is planning its next-generation Xbox for 2028, while Sony is likely working on PlayStation 6 around the same time.

Will GTA 7 release towards the end of the next-generation consoles, or will it debut on the generation after that? Can we expect GTA 7 for the PlayStation 7? Will Rockstar team up with Nintendo? It’s worth mentioning that GTA 6 will not launch on PC initially, but will GTA 7 be different? Will Steam still dominate the PC market in the mid to late 2030s? And on an unrelated note, will Cristiano Ronaldo still be playing football?

Only time will tell. For now, fans will have to satisfy their curiosity with the first trailer for GTA 6. The official unveiling took place last night after the trailer unexpectedly leaked on social media. Fortunately, Rockstar promptly posted the official version. Reactions to the trailer from across the gaming industry have been pouring in, showcasing the excitement surrounding the highly anticipated game.
