    Guild Esports has recently revealed its latest addition to the world of Counter-Strike esports with the introduction of their new team, Bad News Eagles. This team, consisting of Genc ‘gxx-‘, Flatron ‘juanflatroo,’ Sener ‘SENER1,’ Dionis ‘sinnopsyy,’ and Rigon ‘rigoN,’ made a name for themselves by becoming the first-ever team from the Albanian-Kosovar region to reach a Major qualifier (RMR) in 2022, where they successfully qualified for the PGL Antwerp Major. Since then, they have managed to compete in three Counter-Strike Majors, securing a place in the Legends stage in Antwerp, Rio, and Paris. The team has accumulated an impressive $96,000 in prize winnings in 2023 alone.

    A Team of Experts Joining Guild Eagles

    Joining the Guild Eagles team are a group of highly respected individuals from the Counter-Strike community. Jonatan ‘Devilwalk’ Lundberg, the only multi-Major winner as both a coach and player, will take on the role of head coach. Kevin ‘Krystal’ Amend will assist as the assistant coach, Kieran ‘KayJay’ Playfair will analyze the team’s performance, and James ‘BanKs’ Banks will provide consultancy support as the team manager. Together, this backroom staff aims to provide the necessary guidance and expertise to propel the Guild Eagles to new heights.

    Coming from humble beginnings in Kosovan net cafes, the Bad News Eagles roster has experienced remarkable growth over the past three years since their competitive debut in 2020. They have garnered a dedicated following both locally and globally, accumulating over 112,000 Twitter followers, 297,000 Twitch followers, and 137,000 Instagram followers. Their journey to success and international recognition serves as an inspiration within the Counter-Strike community.

    Guild Esports and Ground+Air Partnership

    Guild Esports has partnered with Ground+Air, a performance and wellbeing consultancy, to support the Guild Esports CS2 roster. Ground+Air will deliver a specialized coaching and education program called the ‘Elite Performance Programme.’ Drawing on their extensive experience in sectors such as professional football, motor racing, entertainment, banking, and technology, Ground+Air aims to enhance in-game performance through holistic support and wellbeing practices.
