Stranger Things VR Delayed on Quest, New Release Date Coming Soon

Stranger Things VR, the upcoming psychological horror game developed and published by Tender Claws, has been delayed for release on the Quest platform. Originally set to launch on November 30th, the studio announced that a new release date will be revealed in the near future. Tender Claws shared the news on Twitter, stating that the delay is to ensure the best possible gameplay experience for players.

The game, described as a single-player horror-action experience, allows players to explore unknown realities from the perspective of Vecna, a character seeking revenge against Eleven and Hawkins from the Stranger Things series. Players will be able to possess minds, battle creatures, and manipulate fan-favorite characters’ dreams and memories using telekinetic powers. The game also features the ability to open and close portals between worlds and realities.

Tender Claws plans to release Stranger Things VR on Quest 2, Quest Pro, and other major VR platforms, such as PSVR 2, Pico, and SteamVR headsets. The game was initially projected to arrive in Winter 2023, aligning with other game releases expected during that season.

Stranger Things VR is priced at $30 and can be wishlisted by interested players. While the exact release date is currently unknown, fans can anticipate an announcement in the near future.
