    Preview Sampler Available

For an exclusive sneak peek of The Outlast Trials soundtrack, Game Informer is providing a preview sampler that can be listened to right now. This gives fans a taste of the spine-tingling and unsettling score created by renowned composer Tom Salta.

    Composer’s Haunting Score

The Outlast Trials’ soundtrack is the work of Tom Salta, a composer known for his impressive contributions to games such as Deathloop, PUBG, and Halo. Salta incorporated orchestral compositions, along with dark organic and synthetic textures, to create an intense and chilling musical experience for players. His unnerving use of diegetic music, drawing inspiration from eerie mid-century styles, adds an extra layer of unease to the already terrifying gameplay.

    Creating a Nightmare

Tom Salta expressed his excitement in crafting a horror score for The Outlast Trials. Drawing from his childhood fascination with scary elements, he aimed to immerse players in a nightmarish emotional dimension through his music. The score includes a signature theme and a haunting musical tapestry that will stay with players long after they’ve finished the game.

    The Sound of Horror

The audio director of The Outlast Trials, Francis Brus, praised Tom Salta’s contribution to the game. He highlighted how the soundtrack became an integral part of the horror experience, heightening emotions and creating spine-tingling tension through sound. The combination of Salta’s score and the game’s gameplay creates a truly immersive and terrifying experience for players.

    Preorder the Vinyl Release

Fans of The Outlast Trials and vinyl collectors alike can now preorder the limited edition “Bloodshed Red” double LP vinyl release from Laced Records. The standard edition, featuring black LPs, will also be available from third-party retailers. The vinyl release offers a unique opportunity to own a physical copy of the game’s atmospheric soundtrack, specially mastered for vinyl and presented in a beautifully designed package.
