PS5 and Xbox Series X/S to Face Teardowns in November

Teardown: A Destructive Voxel-Based Simulation Game Coming to Consoles

Teardown, a voxel-based simulation game centered around destruction, is set to make its debut on consoles. Initially released on PC in April of last year, developer Tuxedo Labs recently announced that the game would be launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 15.

    PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Inclusion

As an added bonus, when Teardown arrives on PS5, it will join the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members. This exciting news coincides with the reveal of a host of new content planned for Teardown over the next year, including missions, maps, vehicles, and more. Additionally, the game will be introducing its first-ever season pass.

    Teardown’s Gameplay Experience

For new players, Tuxedo Labs recommends starting with Teardown’s story campaign, which features 40 levels. Each level presents a main objective, such as stealing an object or destroying specific targets, along with a series of bonus challenges. To complete these tasks, players must utilize an array of tools, weapons, vehicles, and more before time runs out. After completing the campaign, players can delve into Sandbox Mode, where they can freely explore all the campaign levels without any limitations.

    Time Campers DLC Expansion

In conjunction with the console release, Tuxedo Labs will also be launching the Time Campers DLC, which offers a campaign expansion set in the wild west. This expansion transports players back in time, equipping them with old-fashioned weapons and tools as they unleash destruction upon a dusty mining town. While the new DLC departs from the contemporary setting of Teardown’s main campaign, the heist concept seamlessly aligns with the era of elaborate bank robberies.

    Folkrace DLC and More

In the spring of the following year, Teardown enthusiasts can look forward to the arrival of the Folkrace DLC. This DLC introduces a fleet of new vehicles that players can utilize in races and destructive challenges within the game. Moreover, Tuxedo Labs has two unannounced DLCs planned for release in 2024, providing even more excitement for fans of the game. All four DLCs will be included in the Teardown season pass.

    Availability and Future Playthrough

Currently available on PC, Teardown will expand its accessibility to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 15. While eagerly awaiting its arrival on consoles, fans can watch Game Informer’s Teardown NGT for a sneak peek into the gameplay experience.

With its thrilling concept centered around destruction and the introduction of new content through DLCs, Teardown promises an exciting and immersive gaming experience for players on consoles. So mark your calendars for November 15 and get ready to unleash chaos in this voxel-based simulation game!
