Enigmas are hidden riddles scattered throughout Mirage, promising valuable rewards to those who can successfully solve them. One such enigma is the Surrender enigma, which takes you on a journey to explore lesser-known parts of Baghdad. These enigmas are worth pursuing, as they provide a refreshing twist to the gameplay. If you need a guiding hand, here’s how you can unlock the Surrender enigma in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Where to Discover the Surrender Enigma

If you aspire to unveil all the enigmas within Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the Surrender enigma awaits you in the captivating Wilderness surrounding Abbasiyah and Harbiyah.

The Surrender enigma isn’t concealed deep within the Wilderness. In fact, you will find it in the Tomb of Zubaydah graveyard near a river that borders Harbiyah and flows through Abbasiyah. Consult the map below for its precise location:

As you explore the graveyard, be sure to utilize your Eagle Vision. It will direct you to the grave where the enigma scroll is hidden. If you haven’t collected this particular enigma yet, it will also appear as a golden scroll on both your world map and HUD. Once you’ve collected it, the enigma’s location will be marked as a white cross on your world map.

Once you possess the enigma, delve into your inventory and open Basim’s bag to unravel the secrets it holds.

Unlock the Surrender Enigma Solution

The Surrender enigma in Assassin’s Creed Mirage presents itself as a concise letter addressed to Asif, signed by an enigmatic figure known as ‘D’. The crux of the enigma lies within the clue contained in the letter: “I drop my rebel blade and leave what’s left of my life north of the oasis in the village of my birth.”

If you have completed The Calling quest or dabbled with Mysterious Shards in Mirage, you likely have a clue indicating the identity of the “oasis” mentioned in the letter. If not, the oasis in question is a small lake positioned in the Wilderness north of Harbiyah.

Exploration beyond the initial clue may have already acquainted you with Ukbara, a small village located north of the oasis. This is where your endeavor for the ultimate reward begins.

Starting from the Surrender enigma’s location, mount a horse and trek northward through the Wilderness, passing the oasis, until you reach the top right corner of the map, as depicted below:

Upon arriving at the small village named Ukbara, you will notice that a considerable portion of the village lies submerged in surrounding waters. Nonetheless, the village’s inhabitants continue their daily lives. Remember to undertake the Tale of Baghdad when provided with the opportunity!

Head towards the northernmost point of the town, where you will find several submerged buildings. One building’s rooftop, complete with a dome, partially emerges from the water. On this rooftop, you will discover a vase, basket, and stool.

Approach this building and retrieve the treasure that you sought near the basket and stool: a Rebel’s Talisman.
