VRROOM reveals major update and plans VR concert starring Armani White!

A New VR Concert Featuring Armani White and an Update to the VRROOM Platform

For the past few weeks, I’ve been less active on this blog due to my busy schedule at VRROOM. But today, I’m excited to share with you what we’ve been working on – a new version update of the VRROOM platform and an amazing VR concert featuring Armani White!

If you haven’t heard of VRROOM yet, you’re missing out! It is a social XR platform that focuses on music, performances, and live shows. Our goal is to revolutionize the events and art industry with a platform dedicated solely to these experiences. We launched the alpha version of VRROOM in January 2023 on major VR platforms like Steam, Quest, and Pico. The launch day was a huge success, with VRROOM becoming the most downloaded free app on the Pico Store. Since then, we’ve been working on developing new features for the next version.

Armani White performing his hit: Billie Eilish

In a few days, we are thrilled to present a VR concert by the talented rapper, Armani White. If you haven’t heard of him, you’re missing out! Armani White has become a rising star in the American RAP ecosystem, with hits like “Billie Eilish” and “Goated.” His moves during the performance of “Goated” have even been integrated into Fortnite.

We had the honor of collaborating with Armani White to create an incredible VR experience. Our art director came up with a cool concept based on the idea of a “multiverse.” This new take on VR concerts is something we believe many of you will enjoy and want to try.

But that’s not all! We’ve also made significant updates to the VRROOM app. It has evolved from an alpha version to an “early access” platform. The new update includes visual upgrades, improved menus, and even cooler avatars that match the musical vibes of the space.

There are two main features that you’ll love in this update. First, we’ve added a recording tool that allows you to shoot professional videos within the platform. You can still take GIFs with the virtual phone, but now you can also create longer movies with moving virtual cameras for more professional productions. It’s like having a separate product within the VRROOM platform!

Secondly, worlds within VRROOM are now fully dynamic. Instead of a fixed number of available experiences, we now have a growing database of worlds in the cloud. When you enter a world, it is downloaded from the cloud, providing you with a more dynamic and immersive experience.

Under the hood, we have many other cool features in development. One of them, which I can’t reveal the name of just yet, will enhance your experience even more. These features will be released in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

As the CTO of VRROOM, I can tell you that developing this platform has been rewarding yet challenging. It’s a massive project, and I’ve learned many lessons along the way. We understand that being in early access means there may be some issues with the app, and we appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to improve.

So mark your calendars for November 6th or 7th (depending on your timezone) and join us for the Armani White concert on the new VRROOM platform! It’s a completely free event that you won’t want to miss. Reserve your spot at https://vrroom.world and be prepared for an unforgettable experience!

Thank you to our partners, Pico and XRSI, for their support in making this event possible.
